Coach Walsh is beginning his 7 th  year as the head coach of the Titans and 20th overall.

He arrived at CHS in 2004 and was an assistant baseball coach for three years until

his appointment to head coach in the 2007- 2008 academic year.  He held the head

coaching position for three years before moving with his family to Sandy

Hook, Connecticut.  During his first term as the Titans Head Coach, Coach Walsh posted

a record of 56-37 and took the team to their first playoff appearance in the school’s brief

history in 2009.  Coach Walsh returned to the Titan Baseball Program again in 2013-

2014 as an assistant coach and was appointed head coach again in 2014-2015.  He led the

Titans to the Regional Quarterfinals in the 2016-2017 season.   Before his time at

Centennial High School, Coach Walsh was involved in the Rhode Island Interscholastic

Baseball League, and served four years as an assistant varsity coach for the Bishop

Hendricken High School baseball team in Warwick, RI. This program won the RI state

baseball championship in 2003 and 2004, and was ranked nationally 24 th  by Baseball

America in 2004.

Coach Walsh attended Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts where he played

four years of Varsity baseball. He completed high school in Warwick, RI, where he was a

three-sport athlete.  His favorite coaching memories include when his 2008-2009

Titan team defeated Frisco High School to secure the program’s first ever playoff

appearance and more recently defeating Little Elm HS and Hallsville HS in the 2017 state

Coach Walsh is a member of the Special Education Department at CHS responsible for

supporting students in the general education setting.  He lives in Frisco, TX with his wife

of 20 years, Carrie.  He has three amazing children Daniel (9), Grace (9) Ellie (4) and

dogs Queenie and Daisy.  He has dedicated this season to a colleague and dear friend

Ann Coryell who passed away in December.

Assistant Varsity

Coach Summerlin graduated from Frisco High School in 2006, where he was a three-year letterman as a third baseman. He then went on to play second base at Palomar College (San Diego) for two years

before transferring to Texas State University and graduating in 2011. He has coached baseball for six years: two at San Marcos High School, before coming to Centennial in 2013. He's thrilled to be starting his sixth year with a great coaching staff that he loves working with every single day. When away from baseball, Coach Summerlin likes to work out, hunt, fish and spend time with his family. Travis and his wife Rachel have two sons, Simon (8) and Canaan (3).

Coach Harden is beginning his 1 st year as a member of the Titan coaching staff. He graduated from DeKalb, Tx in 2002, earned his BA (Kinesiology) at The University of Texas at Arlington in 2006 and completed graduate work at the Kanakuk Institute in Branson, Missouri in 2008. He taught middle school Science and PE for 6 years and held the position of MS Athletic

Coordinator for a year as well. Coach Harden coached baseball at Pantego Christian Academy (2004-2006). In 2014, Coach Harden arrived in Frisco and taught/coached at Independence HS

for 4 years. He left for a brief time, teaching and coaching at Bowie HS but has returned to Frisco ISD and is excited to be a part of the CHS Titan Baseball family. Overall, Coach Harden has been teaching/coaching for 11 years. I coach to influence athletes with a futuristic mindset.

I want to impact their thought processes with the hope of making them the most well rounded individuals and someone who will be confident and satisfied for the rest of their lives. My wife (Kristy) and I have been married for 9 years, we have two boys Carter (5) and Caleb (2). We

enjoy playing all sports and going to the family farm in North East Texas.

This is my 13th year of teaching and coaching, in those 13 years I’ve coached football, baseball, basketball, powerlifting and track. 8 of my 13 years I’ve been fortunate enough to coach baseball. During those previous 7 baseball seasons I’ve been a part of teams that have made deep playoff runs, including the Titans’ run to the 3 rd round in 2017. I am married to my best friend, Allison; we have 2 awesome children Charleigh (6) who is in first grade and Case (3). Both of them will celebrate birthdays this spring!  Allison and I will celebrate our 11th wedding anniversary in June. I look forward to the opportunity to positively impact the young men in the Centennial baseball program and hopefully teach them some

baseball fundamentals along the way!
